Petmate Deluxe Pet Fountain Giveaway ~ Holiday Happenings

Pet Blogs United

Today we have an awesome Petmate Deluxe Fresh Flow Purifying Pet Fountain in Black to give away courtesy of Petco.

We have learned that running water can increase the amount of water your pets drink, and we have found this to be true, especially for our cats Chloe & Moe.

We thought we'd make this entry easy, just us about your favorite holiday memory with your pet.

If you have the Holiday Happenings button in your sidebar please leave a second comment telling us.

This contest is open to US residents only.  Please leave your e-mail address in your comment so we can reach you if you win.  To avoid spammers, it's best to leave it in this format: PBU at comcast dot net.

Contest ends 12/4 at midnight EST.

Good luck!

That would have to be the first Christmas I had my old dog Shadow (she was young then) and there was snow up north where we stayed! She had so much fun chasing me as I sledded down hill and I had to kick her basketball for her in the snow and it became one huge snow ball it was so covered in snow!

This will be Blueberry's first Christmas with me - so I hope to have new memories with her. :)

We would love to win that! Umm, let's see...my favorite holiday memory with Riley would have to be all the times she's tried to sneak off quietly with ornaments or presents!

I guess my best holiday moment, was my dog sticking her head into a gift bag, and couldn't get it off! She thinks every gift bag though out the year, belongs to her!! She would probably love running water!

What a cool prezzie!

My favorite memory is of spending my very furst Christmas with my Mommy and Daddy as a puppy. There were so many pawsome gifts from all those people who loved me. I went crazy opening the prezzies and loved every minute of watching Mommy picking up all the wrapping paper afterwards.

Hi Oskar
My favorite Christmas memory was actually the first one I spent with my Mommys. All the smells and sounds were so comforting. I was still an excitable puppy so everything was put high - the tree on a table with the presents under it. Know what???? Sandy Paws actually BROUGHT me something! I love Christmas Day the best because my Mommys snuggle with me ALL DAY.

We laugh about it now, but at the time it was NOT funny! Our first Christmas after we got married, and our first with our kitties, was eventful.. I was sick, very sick, and unknowingly having reactions to medicine. But I was excited that it was Christmas eve and was getting ready to go out to a family thing. I called Greg who should have been on his way home and told him I was ready and that the cats had been good with the tree alllll day! then I went downstairs... the tree was on it's side, broken ornaments everywhere. I totally (drug reaction induced) flipped out! Cats scattered! When Greg got home, he heard screaming and crying and thought someone was being massacured! He peeked through the windows and I whimpered "they hurt my tree"
Greg comforted the kitties, cleaned up the mess, and I spent the rest of Christmas sitting in a corner trying not to drool. Bad meds! understandable kitties. That is the only year anyone touched the tree though! Not that I recommend it as a deterent to destruction..

We'd love a fountain! anniclan AT aol DOT com

OOH! What a fun giveaway!!! The girlz would LOVE that!! My funniest Christmas memory would have to be the year our cat, Minnie, got into her present while we were all sleeping. Lo and behold, her present was full of CATNIP! We came down on Christmas morning to find one really drunk cat sound asleep under the tree surround by all the presents...and she stayed there for the whole next day! She really enjoyed THAT Christmas!! My address is jeanne dot pursell at gmail dot com

My favorite memory with my baby, Toby was 2 years ago when I first got her. I helped her open her 1st stocking and there was a little christmas sweater in it. I put it on her and she just starting running all over the house. She loved it! She gets a stocking every year along with all of my other furbabies. They look forward to that.

I is not entering as we already have one of these for the kittehs. I wanted to comment though because it is totally awesome and the winner of this product we be very lucky! If you don't win I still recommend this for boy kittehs especially. Kitteh brudder Troubles (RIP) had urinary blockages and one of the best ways to try to prevent these "crystal blockages" in older boy kittehs is to encourage more drinking of water - this product does this!

What a great idea.

Dad sacrifices socks to leave out for Santa every year. Then we get to chew our stockings to get to the presents.

Gosh, that sounds like a super neat thing, I would love to win it! I always enjoyed snuggling with my brudder Dillon near the Christmas-Time tree with the pretty colored lights. I like our speshul Christmas-Time bandannas too!

One of the best holiday memories I have with my kitty Milita is the first year I moved to Colorado. I did not know many people, and I was very lonely, but Milita was there to keep me company, snuggle with, and help me open gifts. She's a wonderful companion! :)

Our favorite holiday pet memory happened last year. Sammy LOVES the Christmas tree, and we set it up downstairs while he was asleep upstairs. He came down the steps, turned the corner, and just STOPPED. His eyes actually got big, as if he was thinking, "OMG! My tree is back! I've been waiting all year!" He then walked straight over to it, gave it a sniff, and curled up under it. :)

Two years ago we were walking through Walmart and Santa was shopping with his wife. He looked just like the real Santa but wasn't wearing the heavy jacket, just the pants and white shirt and suspenders. He is hired for holiday parties and grows his beard yearround. He was super kind and stopped to talk to us and take pics.

My favorite holiday memory with my cats is giving them their special Christmas breakfast (the fancy schmancy kind of wet food). Of course they then wonder why they don't get it every day of the year!

Around Christmas time with the family dog, my parents, me, and my brother would take a long walk around the neighborhood one night to look at all of the Christmas lights people had up at their houses. Then every Christmas morning, we watched our dog try to tear into his wrapped present. It was so cute and just happy times.

Last year when we gave the dogs a Christmas stocking filled with treats and toys. They went Nuts.
All the different smells of the treats. Then playing with the toys. They couldn't decide which to destroy I mean play with first.
So much fun

A few years ago my son decided he was going to put Santa hats on all of our animals. Of course by the time he got the last on the first one was off. He spent at least an hour doing this and unfortunately had to give up (they were running away) but we still remember it every year.

Last year was our first holiday with our cats Boots & Bruin. We got them stockings with paw prints on them and filled them with cat toys. This year we added Odin, and will be looking forward to our first Christmas with him!

My favorite holiday memory is the year that we had two new kittens and two new dogs. We despaired of keeping the Christmas tree unmolested, but our older cat apparently realized the problem. As soon as the tree went up Sheba decided that the tree skirt was her personal hangout and any other pet who approached the tree was warned away. She saved the tree for us that year.
