About Pet Blogs United

Pet Blogs United aims to support our fellow pet bloggers by encouraging members to visit other members and leave comments. It’s a great way to find great blogs & new friends.

Pet bloggers are some of the kindest people we’ve come across, so we know that with your help, this site will become a great place for everyone.
We will have a featured blogger every week once we get going and that person will hopefully be showered with comments from our members.

To be a PBU featured blogger, first become a follower through Google Friend Connect (juct click the follow button you always see). Then just send an e-mail to Pet Blogs United. We'll contact you, have you pick some of your favorite posts and feature you when your turn comes up on the list. Pet Blogs United will only feature blogs about, by or for pets & animals.

Dogtimes Adoptable Dog & Cat Of The Week

We are pleased to be part of Dogtime.com's Adoptable Pet Of The Week Program.  Here are a couple of pets from their Adoptable Animal Finder.

Adoptable Dog of the Week:
Buddy the Sheltie

Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Location: Midwest Dog Rescue Network, Belleuve, NE 68123

Buddy is a 3 year old black and white Sheltie. He came from an overcrowded shelter, where he was surrendered because his owners could no longer have pets. Buddy is extremely loving. He likes to sit on people's laps and nudge them so that they'll pet him. He loves to be the center of attention. He is very smart as well, and knows sit, lay down, roll over, and other commands. He is housebroken and has not had an accident yet in his foster home. Though he likes other dogs, he prefers people and so would be OK as an only dog too. Adoption fee is $200

If you are interested in learning more about Buddy you can contact Midwest Dog Rescue.

Adoptable Cat of the Week: Sweet Pea

Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Location: For the Love of Cats, Inc, Marco Island, FL 34146 Sweet Pea is a gentle and loving 8 year old female cat. She likes to curl up in a ball and sleep in a soft place. She likes to rub on you, and get rubs in return. She is up to date on all shots and de-wormed.

If you would like more information on Sweet Pea, please contact Robyn at: thelakeplacidorganicsoapco@gmail.com

If you live in either of these area's, please spread the work about these deserving pets.
