2 Grad Students & A Pittie - New Blogger Alert

Today we are featuring Havi from 2 Grad Students & A Pittie and here's what they have to say:

We started this blog after adopting our pit bull, Havi. Havi was a spur of the minute decision when our friends, who were fostering her, were no longer able to do so. After the first few months, she changed our lives. I had never had a dog before, much less a pit bull. I learned that there is no greater companion than a dog. My boyfriend and I were shocked to learn all the negative attention we got from this sweet, gentle creature. It was ironic to us that the pup we named Havi, a nickname for the Hebrew word for "love," was considered a "vivcious breed."

As graduate students, we're frugal to the core, and that didn't stop when we adopted Havi. We decided to write a blog about our adventures as a young couple in New York City, how we find great deals, have fun, and raise a big dog in a small apartment. The response to our blog was overwhelming as we immediately met fellow bloggers. They helped us diagnose Havi's stomach issues, find the perfect toy for her crate, and even helped us pick out the color for our walls in our apartment.

The blog has become a creative outlet for us, a way to stay in touch with friends and family, and meet new friends. Most of all, we have learned that not everyone thinks pit bulls are vicious and we know that we changed the minds of many people - including our own family! We hope we encourage others who believe their place is too small, or they do not have enough money or time to adopt.
2 Grad Students & A Pittie is really a fantastic blog, so stop by & show them some PBU comment love!

I love your blog and Havi! I have a number of pittie friends owned by wonderful humans. Thanks for showcasing your baby for the world to see what sweethearts they are. Hugs from someone working behind the scenes to change the gawd awful stereotype.

Thanks for sharing. I think this is a good blog. All articles are unique. I am searching this kind of blog. Great, I am really happy to read this blog. You can find definitely a lot of details like that to take into consideration about Bichon Frise. I don’t know if all or most Bichons will do well in social with other animals
